The Red Cross has cell phone apps for a number of emergency situations, one of which is a tornado app. Not only does it help you prepare for a tornado, it can be set up to alert you when you are under a tornado warning. There are both iPhone and Android versions.
It is free and can be downloaded from iTunes or Google play.

Moore, Oklahoma has had several violent tornadoes, the last of which occurred on May 20, 2013.
They are now instituting tougher residential building codes to hopefully prevent the devastation that they have endured in the past.
Wisconsin’s Tornado and Severe Weather Awareness Week, which is April 21-25, includes a a statewide mock tornado warning on Thursday, April 24th.
